Gingerbread-cottage

I am again building christmas, as I have a photo shoot on monday. But this time I can leave whatever chrismassy I produce, as my house is part of the traditional Christmas houses that welcome visitors two weekends in december.

Today I made a gingerbread house, or rather a cottage. I drew the parts myself as I didn't want a palace, or I don't think I could manage a palace (!). So a cottage was what I planned, and I am pleased with the outcome. I decorated with anise and left it slightly rustic.

My house smells heavenly...I think part of my Christmas spirit comes from the scent of gingerbread.

So, here we go. Christmas has arrived in my house.
